a big adventure!!!!!
On wednesday february 22 me and my dad got up at 3:30 in the morning. Then we met my friend, Green Sage. We headed West to the Buddhist Temple in Leverette, MA. Along the way, we listened to the Legend of Zelda soundtrack from Skyward Sword. it made me feel adventurous! When we got there, it was still a little dark but we could see a lot of little totems made of rocks. my dad said they were for prayers. I made one! It looked weird. Then, the sun rose! We heard a monk and a nun doing there morning ritual. They sang and played a little drum. He walked around blessing everything. When he left, we saw some newts, sage took a lot of pictures, and we had a snack. Then, we walked around some more. We saw the doorway to the burned down temple. There was a smaller temple at the bottom of the hill. Later we saw another temple with a giant statue of the Buddha inside. Then, a cat climbed through the roof. He was cute.
Our next stop was to see dinosaur tracks on the Connecticut River. I liked them a lot. They were big. Way bigger than my hand. They were even bigger than my dad's foot! Then, we ate lunch. We ate turkey sandwiches. My dad made them and they were awesome. It was exciting putting my hand in a dinosaur footprint. We also saw fossils of plants and leaves.
Finally (or so we thought) we headed to Nash Dinoland! ...but it was just some guys backyard. It had a bunch of fossils and minerals that he and his father dug up. We bought some at the gift shop.then we left. Next we went to friendlys.I got the build your own sunday. But I don't remember what I had on it. Last we went to purgatory chasm.we saw lots of funny names for areas! Then we dropped off Green sage and went home.
